Todays interesting keynotes session on OpenDocument, Open Revolution is now avaliable from our media archive.

As the conference ends, so do our live streams. You can watch all the talks you've missed in our media archive, which is allredy almost complete. The missing bits will be added in the following days. The planet will be frozen after a day or two, and we would like to invite all conference participats to share their interesting photos on our web site.

We are proud that we managed to demonstrate the power of open source software once more. We were using the following great software: kino, ffmpeg, ogg/theora, cinelerra, icecast2, videolan client, inkscape, gimp, openoffice.org.

Howto play streams

Wed Sep 13 12:14:48 CEST 2006

As we heard, some of you have problems finding / playing our streams, here are some explanations:

  • use VideoLan Client - this means, go to their website and download their player. From our experience, it is the most reliable and works on all platforms - windows, os x and linux.
  • go to our streams page and click on the link to the stream on our website.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact us. Enjoy!

Availability of content

Sun Oct 2 00:44:37 CEST 2005

Lots of people has asked us how long will this site be online. We plan to host it for quite some time (atleast until next OOoCon). In the following week we will finish ripping all the videos and polish the conference archives. We also plan to add slides to the videos.

When the content stabilizes we will also prepare .iso (and maybe also .tar/.zip) archives for easier download of whole site for your personal archive.
